Critical Choices Need To Be Made
You must choose right from the get go to choose who will help you create a foundation that is strong, and free from potential collapse or erosion. This means that all those negative people in your life must be released from controlling your thoughts.
Instead, choose to only associate with those that see life as a road upon which to lay positive feelings, and who would rather find a solution than complain about the problems. We can choose to hang out with complainers for they are very easy to find but they are also those who will create huge crevices of despair in your building materials.
Strong Foundations Last A Life Time
You have a lot of life choices to make, and there are a lot of issues, obstacles and concerns to deal with as one walks down the road. Why on earth would you limit your future by starting out with a poor foundation?
Not Done Overnight
Some people also think that they can hurry the process of building a life and desire to reach the ultimate objective by skipping a few necessary steps. But, it is only with building each step well that any future growth will be successful.
These Structures Also Help Others
Ultimately, those who build each step with firm material will be the ones who later also have the skills and knowledge to help others do the same. This is a major ingredient for a parent who has the responsibility of guiding and encouraging their children to be prepared and skilled in the ways and means of acquiring their own foundation filled with strong ethics and firm attitudes.
Establishment Of Inner Well Being
All of these skills, beliefs and attitudes are what makes the difference between being a well rounded and valuable person not only in social, work and community environments but, most of all, to their own inner core of well being.
Every person is a builder whether they realize it or not. The real secret is to move a life where one is a master builder not just a builder that uses shoddy material and without any plan.
Inspirational Quotes for Reflection:
"Sometimes my attitude comes through in the way I speak and the way I listen and the way I forgive, and sometimes I need a change of mind, a turn of heart, because neither are always, every hour of every day, in the right place." Rachel Toalson
"Finally, at the end of the day, try to understand the fact that you've got one life to life. So during this time, if there's something that vexes or even bores you, get it changed right away." Edward Eddington
"What we call the secret of happiness is no more a secret than our willingness to choose life." Leo Buscaglia
