Appreciation Poet: Julie Hebert, © 2012 A day will come in every life, When appreciation is rendered. And this should be taken seriously, And given with love and tender. Anyone who deserves appreciation, Must have done something great. So share with them the way you feel, And always treat them right. But keep in mind that appreciation, Should be given again and again. If you truly appreciate, You'll remind them how great they've been. Do something special to thank the ones, Who've made a difference to you. But don't forget to thank them again, For everything they do. |

Your Smile Poet: Julie Hebert, (c)2012 Your smile lights my way through life, And keeps me warm inside. It reminds me that people are good, Especially when their snide. Your smile helps me though each day, Knowing I'll soon see if again. It even makes me want to smile, Even when I'm in pain. Your smile can take my moods away, And help me to see it another way. It reminds me not too take things so hard, And so seriously every day. Your smile I am so very thankful, And of course for you as well. You always know just what to say, And never let me dwell. So thank you so much for all your smiles, And for loving me each day. Life can be very tough but thankfully, I've got you to help shine my way. I'm Glad To Have Met You Poet: Julie Hebert, (c)2012 Before our paths had met, My life was very tough. My days never changed, And I was never good enough. But when our paths did meet, And you showed me a different way, It was then that I felt changed, Became the hunter vs. the prey. I soon was up on top, You're counsel was all I need. Someone to show me a different path, That could help me to succeed. Before my days were harsh, And I could never see the light. It was hard to get myself, to have a different sight. And that is where you helped, You changed my point of view. There aren't enough thanks in the world, That could tell you how I feel about you. But I can say Thank You, Thank you so very much. I'm so thankful for all your help, I'm so lucky to have received your touch. |
The Happiness You Give Poet: Julie Hebert, (c)2012 What can I say about you, And the happiness you give. You've taught me so many things, Like being able to forgive. You've taught me how to love, And this I can't thank enough. Even more important of that, That you taught me to love myself. You've taught me people are kind, Yet some can be quite mean, To look past the outer shell, Child, adult or teen. You've taught me do the things, That I never would before. Life is too short to hold off, It's time to go out and explore. You've taught me to believe in myself, That I can do anything I want. If I put my mind to it, I can accomplish anything I want. What else can I say, About everything you've taught? You've taught me about life's happiness, And this will not be forgot. So from the bottom of my heart, Thank you for being you. And teaching me everything you know, And also how to stay true. A Day Of Thanksgiving Poet: Julie Hebert, (c)2012 There is a day that's marked, For us to give our thanks. This day called thanksgiving comes, But once a year in the ranks. And although this day is used, By each and everyone. Thanks shouldn't be just a yearly date, Once a day it should be done. Or every time you feel, Something good has come your way. No matter if it's more often, Than once of every day. Can thanks be given too much, I don't believe this so. Giving thanks should be done as often, As good things happen in a row. Give thanks for your health, And for your family too. And don't forget your pet, And the bone he has to chew. Give thanks for the seasons, And all experiences you've been given. Give thanks for those you've helped, And also for who you've forgiven. Give thanks for all that's little, Not just for the big things. Though you may not realize it, Little things tie together like strings. But most importantly give thanks, For who you are today. You're kind, loving and courageous, And I give thanks for you each day. |
