Complain AwayAuthor: Byron Pulsifer, ©2012
Boy, there are a lot of complainers around. They complain about the weather, about the lack of customer service, about the price of gas, about the cost of food, about their kids, about their husband or wife, about getting the car fixed, about everything and everyone. Don't you just love to complain too because it is so good to get it off your chest - makes you feel good I bet?
The strange thing about complaining is that the more you complain, the more people you attract as friends and colleagues who also love to complain. Pretty soon, you have a whole bunch of people you can call, talk to, or invite over to have a good old complaining party. Everybody participates fully contributing their own grievous wrongs that life has laid on them. They all leave after their complaining with a much better appreciation of complaining and sincerely look forward to the next time so that they can complain some more about things that went wrong in their day.
complain - and most fools do."
And, even better, the more complainers you attract, they do so in return until you will have an entire community of complainers. But, nothing ever changes because none of the complainers will ever try and resolve any of the complaints that they talk about over and over again.
Oh well, who cares. Complainers are not supposed to resolve issues; they are not put on this earth to make things better, or to take any action whatsoever to resolve issues. And, they are not meant to ever look at themselves and required to even, for a minute, think that they are the problem. After all, why should they assume they are at fault because they are indeed perfect. They know that everyone else is to blame for the ills of the world.
Rejoice - rejoice. If you are a complainer and feel alone, do not despair. You will always be able to find others to join your group and if you don't have a group yet, keep complaining because sooner than later, you will find a huge number of people who just complain about everything knowing full well that they are not to blame and should never strive to resolve any issues, or to be thankful for what they have. They know with a certainty, just like you, that they deserve everything they have and deserve a lot more.
There certainly is nothing wrong with being a complainer except you must strive to be the best there is when meeting and speaking with other complainers. If you are not the first to complain, you will not appear to be a leader of your network. The first thing you have to do in the morning is to make sure you start off right and that means that you should find at least one thing to complain about before you even get out of bed. For example, you may want to start off complaining that your alarm clock made too much noise, or that it interrupted a really good dream. Then, make sure you find something else wrong or not to your liking, say for example, that your coffee was too strong, or you spilled some of it on the way to the table.
The whole secret here is that you need to find something really annoying in your life from the time you get up to the time you arrive at work. Then, at work, you must find at least one if not more things that really get you worked up so that you have a lot to complain about on your break, and to continue to complain about when you go to lunch.
The whole idea is that you must complain and complain more because complaining is the only way to resolve issues - oh, sorry. I forgot; you are much too much into complaining that you could not possibility have time to resolve any issues in your life. After all, it isn't up to you to make a better life for yourself, or to change in anyway, or to help anyone out of his or her deep problems.
