. . . Is there a solution to worry. The good news is, yes.

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:33 (NLT)

Defeat The Negative
The point is this: when you place your trust in God, He will give you everything you need for this day. And trusting God, really trusting Him, will change your life. In this world there are not many things we can trust. Or we may find we trust but then a person disappoints us and we lose trust. But having a relationship with God our Father who created us is different. It is a trust that goes beyond trust as we may have previously experienced

Many people say, “Trust God, no way. If there is a God how can so much bad be happening in our world?” But, the one thing that many people do not consider is that God is not to blame for the circumstances we may see. Many of the circumstances are caused by the choice humans make. From wars to corrupt governments causing hungry and poverty, these are all made by decisions that men and women make.

A Book That Can Change Your Life
By reading the entire Bible and opening your heart and mind to the word of God, you will find your attitude and thoughts will change. Studying the Bible, looking at the culture of the day will help you understand what is going on. I remember when I first started reading the Bible I was taken back by some of the things that were being done. But once I started studying the Bible, learning about the culture I had a better understanding of the events.

My attitude and thoughts started changing. And looking at our culture today, while it is different, a lot is still the same. When I truly started trusting God, I found my worry and my anxiety levels decreased. When I realized I had a Father who cared about me, life changed!

Similarly, The Lord’s Prayer reminds us that “give us our daily bread” does not talk about tomorrow, or the next day, or the next year. God will provide what we need for each day, therefore, worry not.

Jesus said, “Can your worries add a single moment to your life?” Matthew 6:27 (NLT). No. Worry cannot help, feed, relax or provide peace. Really think about those words said by Jesus. Worry robs us of our life it does not add anything to our life. So why worry!

More Than Enough
Live each day knowing that trust in God will give you everything you need. His master plan unfolds as He wills and desires and there isn’t any amount of worry that can positively change your life for the better.

The secret to a much happier life isn’t difficult when you accept that you are to live each day as a day given. A day is not tomorrow, or next week, but now. Live each day trusting God, and let go of what may or may not happen tomorrow.

The words of Og Mandino summarize my thoughts on living each day:
“Welcome every morning with a smile. Look on the new day as another special gift from your Creator, Another golden opportunity to complete what you were unable to finish yesterday.”

Inspirational Quotes for Reflection:
“We must approach the Bible as a story – the story of God and of God’s people throughout history. What makes it dynamic and present today is that the story hasn’t ended. Brian Hardin

“It does not take much study to realize the most powerful evidence for the existence of God we detect by our five senses. In other words, we can know God exists by the evidence found in the intelligence and intricacies of creation.” Dr. A.G. Walp

“It is such a glorious thing when Christ so transforms someone that you can’t even imagine that person being what he or she used to be. You realize that it is the power of a changed life. And that is what God can do.” Greg Laurie

“Faith is the most important key to all successes. I have read hundreds of books, journals, and magazines; attended hundreds of seminars; and listened to thousands of hours of tapes and speakers. The common thread that links them all is a theory from the Bible, and that is faith.” David DeNotaris

“Focusing on what God isn’t doing will lead to unbelief, doubt, worry and fear. Being thankful for what He has done and is doing will lead to fulfillment, contentment, life and peace.” Andrew Farland

“The pressures crush, and you can see no way out; but suddenly God does something so wonderful, so grand, it literally takes your breath away, and you know that you know that you know the God of the whole universe – the one who created you and continues to love you so much that you are graven on His palm – isn’t going to leave you there.”Geraldine Yount
