A Child Today; An Adult in the Offing

A child ends the monotony in the family,
a child makes life worth living.

A home without a child is desolate.

Too much of parenting makes the child adamant and suspect.

A child needs a role-model,
rather than a critic.

When children start asking questions, they are really growing mentally.

When children start deciding their future themselves,the parents have succeeded , as parents."

Children learn more from what they see,
rather than what is taught.

A child’s heart is like a mirror you can see your image in it.

Don’t provide undue protection when a child makes mistakes.
If at fault point it out to them. Over protection spoils the child.

Parents who don’t educate their children are stunting their growth;
they are neglecting their parental obligation.

Child labor is the worst form of slavery.

Good education is the best gift you can give to your child.

Good status of parents is no indication of any assured future of the child.

Give children encouragement,
they will gain confidence, they will perform better.

Give children recognition,
they will have lofty aims.

Listen to children patiently,
they will learn from you, they become closer to you.

Admire children for anything constructive they do,
it will encourage them to do bigger things.
Let children exploit their hidden potential.

Children are very delicate by nature, one needs to handle children very carefully, and if they make a mistake somewhere explain how and why it has gone wrong. Be patient with them. Explain to them the consequences of wrong actions, as also guidance for not repeating the same.

Don’t get angry with children, they bounce back.
