	Inspirational Messages Motivational Rocks Author: Catherine Pulsifer, (c) 2012 There are many things that I like to do and one of these is to pass on motivational and inspirational words of wisdom. I do have many opportunities to do this with all the work I do on various motivational sites through writing and sharing quotations. But, I also have a hobby that helps me complete the cycle of inspiration for me. This hobby entails painting rocks with cute little bug faces and adding a motivational quotes on the back of each rock. These cute little rocks are taken with me when I go to craft markets across the province and to the cruise ships that come to port. I have given or sold thousands of these little rocks and even have returning customers revisiting to buy even more. These rocks have gone to all corners of the globe from Australia to Asia, to Europe and all across Canada and the United States. It isn't, though, that I really make any money from doing these cute little rocks, it is more that an inspirational message gets to travel and influence people from all walks of life. So, what is the point here? To me, it is very simple: we all have a chance to influence people in a positive way by the little things we say and do. It doesn't have to be big and flashy or a powerful book written or a motivational seminar given. It simply has to do with each one of us passing on a positive message one person at a time just like the little rocks that have influenced all sorts of people one rock at a time. We all can influence people and most people may not realize this to be a fact. It is also true, however, that you can influence people in a negative way as well. Not all things in life that are said or done are positive - I am sure this comes as no surprise. The real secret to positive influence is to be aware of how you act, and react, and how you speak and the words you choose. The positive influence comes through the proper modeling of behavior just as much as from choosing the right words at the right time. Remember this: you have more influence on other people than you may realize - make that influence a positive experience and they too can help further positive behavior with others through your example. May these words make you realize that you are influenced by others and that you have the same impact on others. May the wisdom in the verses remind you to set a good example and make your own choices. But in some way or another, They'll always leave a clue. Understanding they are there, Is the first big step. Once you know, you then can control, And take the appropriate steps. Being people means that we, Are open to being swayed. And that's okay as long as we, Stay true to our own persuade. Just as you are influenced You influence others Set the example That you want to see Be a positive influencer See the good Help others Spread your love. You determine how you view life You determine who influences you You determine your actions Your life is influenced by others But most importantly by your choices.
