When I doubt
when I believe not
when I doubt
I think of seeds
from my hand
miles from
Days later
blades of grass
growing and sprouting
shooting skyward
God’s existence
in man’s humanity
myself or others
recently flung
on bare spots
any mountaintop.
I discover
thousands are there
in my back yard
simple blades of grace.
