Lord,
Grant me the peace
To understand your beauty
To appreciate your gift
That I may be free.
Lord,
Grant to me to accept
That each day is new
That each day is an opportunity
To live fully within your graces.
Lord,
Grant me to live each hour
Knowing that I am yours
To be trusting within your light
That I may see beyond the worldly greed.
Grant me the will to relinquish
All my goods to You Oh Lord
For all that is
Was yours to give.
Amen

For being there for us anytime, anyplace,
For giving us shoes to walk upon,
For the pretty song birds and the active bees,
For hearing fairness, and witnessing integrity,
Lord, we thank you.
The rain that falls for growth of our crops,
For bountiful fruit tress that help nourish our bodies,
For the shelter you have allowed us to live in,
For the blessings of families within our home,
Lord, we thank you.
For the dawn to give us another day to serve you,
For our work so that we may feed our family,
For the cooling winds of summer and shade of trees,
For a day to relax and worship,
Lord, we thank you.
For our food upon the table,
For protection from the cold of night,
For giving us your Son to lead us to your light, .
For all that you so unselfishly provide,
Lord, we thank you.

A Prayer To Saint Francis

Help me to find peace
Make me open when I am closed
Help me to see beyond prejudice
Open my heart to those in need.
Help me to give praise
When all others defame.
Make me see through the dark
To see the light that you have cast.
I need help to praise
When it seems that I falter.
Make me see happiness
When sadness surrounds me.
Make me humble
When I am vain.
Open my eyes
When I do not see.
Grant me the wisdom
To see your calling
That I may be pardoned
And live in eternal peace.
Amen.
St. Francis of Assisi, a man who lived a simple life. He was born in 1182 and died at the age of 44 in 1226. He is known to some as being the friend of the animals. He wrote many prayers but he is famous for his "Peace Prayer" now be considered a classic prayer. It is used by millions of people world wide.
My Kitchen Prayer

Where I love to be
Bless me as I prepare
Food for my family and friends
Who grace my house.
May the meals that I prepare
Be received with your blessing
For it is You Oh Lord
Who make all things I do possible.
Your boundless grace I seek today
With your help I cook and clean
Forever more my thanks to you.

Dear God please bless my home
Let it be a place where peace is found
Let it be a place where love is found
Let it be a place where all are comfortable
May your love shine in our home
May your kindness be in our spirit
May your forgiving ways be with us
This I pray for our home.
If the grace of your presence
Is found in every room
Then our home will be a place
Of love and peace.

The Entrepreneurs Daily Prayer

For those of you who have entered business life as an entrepreneur or for those who have left a previously job and started your own business, there are many times that little prayers are offered. Here are a few little prayers that you may consider from time to time:
God. . . .
When I start to drag my feet, remind me that the only one to get it done is the one who looks at me in the mirror.
When I feel that success may overshadow my family, make me step back and note that my family is my number one concern, not number two.
Do not let fear rob me of my motivation to move forward or take a necessary risk; Guide me to find inner strength.
Direct my energies to the highest good and towards riches for the sake of wealth alone.
Always remind me that I chose this way because of the opportunities, and the quest for continued growth on my terms.
Allow me to give to others in changing to the ways of an entrepreneur just as others have encouraged me.
Let my challenges be opportunities to grow and learn.
When I am doing well, let me be grateful for all my blessings.
Remind me of all the things I love about being in control of my own destiny.
Do not allow me to be in a slump thinking that everything cannot be any better or going so smoothly.
Allow me the opportunity to always see a failure as a necessary stepping-stone to learn more and to keep moving forward without fear.
I am not asking that you make it easy for me but only that you grant me the fortitude to persevere in knowing that I have chosen the right destiny.
