So often, when we work for someone else, we forget that what we are doing, in fact, is selling our services.

How long would businesses survive if the owners did only what they should and no more? The same applies to everyone working for someone else.

You are not simply working for another person. What you are really doing is selling a product — your services. If your services are not meeting the needs of your customer (your employer), then why should you continue to be paid for services that are of minimal value
