You ponder the future. Decisions have been made in the past that caused you to fail. What happened to the ability to succeed you once had? You may be asking yourself why did this happen for me? Or, you may be considering a person you know andquestioning why are they getting ahead?
There are seasons in life that seem to cast us into valleys of failure where doubts reign, and problems seem to be never ending. And, there are seasons in life where everything is going great and life seems good.
Nothing Succeeds
When things are not going right for days and days, you wonder what to do. Nothing you try appears to take you any further ahead. In fact, it seems that no matter what you try, you move backwards instead of forward.
There is good news, however. You may not think so right at this moment, but it’s true. The good news is that your future is bright. How?
Well, the fact is that you can use each and every failure as a springboard to future success. If you were successful in the past, you can do it again. I’m sure you remember the story about Thomas Edison and how many times he failed before he finally was successful in inventing the light bulb. If he gave up, or if he had become discouraged after the first few attempts we may not have electric lights today.
