Is There An Easier Way?
Then, there is the issue of working hard and maybe long hours to get what you want. Just walk into those doors local companies and ask to speak to the CEO or President and find out how many hours they worked to bring the company’s product to the market. And, then find out how many hours they work during the average day, and how many more hours they work on the weekends.

If you really want to find out the level of commitment and dedication to the job, ask them if they ever take a holiday where they are not in touch with their company staff by either phone, email or blackberry. You will be surprised that many of these top executives and company owners never leave their business totally – they are involved no matter where they are.

Now, if you think you would be able to follow in their footsteps, then you have a golden opportunity to travel along the same road to success. Then, there is just one other little thing to be aware of before you leap into action. This item is also of major significance so please do not skip this step.

Failure Can Lead To Success
That other little thing to be aware of is failure. Yep. Failure. You may be shocked to realize that many, many successful business leaders, politicians and musicians and so on have encountered failure in one venture or another. Some of these failures have cost many millions of dollars, or loss of homes, or loss of families through break up, or lead to illness caused by stress.

Failures, whether we like it or not, are part and parcel of success. Just like life’s events are full of failures that can lead to success as in learning to ride a bicycle for the first time and falling off, so is business like riding where falling off is a real hazard.

To Summarize
There is nothing to guarantee success – there are no sure formulas or steps to take. Each failure, though, has to be viewed as the best teacher, but do you have what it takes to get up again and start over.

Success may be one word but it takes more than one action to create it.

Inspirational Quotes for Reflection:
“If you are doing the things that are moving you toward the attainment of your goal, then you are “successful” even if you are not there yet.” Meir Liraz

“Do not associate success or failure with your personality. If you have failed to accomplish a task, you have not failed as a person.” Lenny Olsen

“The fear of failure is a common motivation killer. People don’t try something new because they fear they will fail at it.” Cary Bergeron
