Let Me Always

Let me always,
count my blessings.
To be thankful for my family and friends.
To be thankful for the simple things that life has to offer.
To be thankful for the abilities I have.
To be thankful that I am able to work.
To be thankful for people in my life.
To be thankful for the laughter of small children.
To be thankful for the beauty of nature.
To be thankful for what I have.
By counting God’s blessings rather than
my troubles, life is more rewarding.
Author’s Thoughts:
Far too may people always want and then want more without really sitting back and counting the blessings they already have within their world.
It has been said over and over again that there are millions of people who would be ready at the drop of a hat to change places even for a week with those who are more often seen to complain than to be appreciative for their good fortune. This good fortune is that they live in countries where they can do what they want by building a life, by starting a business, by going to school, or even to eat wholesome meals three times a day. I recently read a quote that stated: “Most of the world’s population would love to have your problems.”
For those millions who only wish they had even one good meal a day, they count themselves lucky if they can eat even once every two days. When we stop and realize this we quickly realize how very blessed we are!

“When you know that your life, your act, made an impact in another person’s life, that is a proud cause for happiness. And even the smallest thing can touch someone else.” Stephen Bryant
