Do You Know Me

You may not like me very much, you may shun me at every opportunity, you may actually hate me, and you may wish to never be involved with me again.

But:
I am the reason the world turns.
I constantly ensure that you are warm and secure in your own home.
I am what helps a nation to survive over and over as time goes on.
I am what you need to be able to help raise your family.
I am the basis for all forms of wealth.
I am the reason and creator of all inventions throughout the entire world.
I make life purposeful, and thus enabling all giving to assist those less fortunate.
I am the reason you get up in the morning so that all things may be secured.
I am what allows you to take vacations and to have hobbies for relaxation.

You have many reasons to know me as stated in the above statements. To be sure, I may not be popular to many thousands upon thousands of people but I am an absolute must if life is to continue, to progress, and to ensure a family survives.

Have You Figured Me Out
Yes, I am WORK.

Work Is A Must
As much as some of us hate to go to work, it is a necessity. Work is a must to accomplish our dreams, to reach our goals no matter what they are, it brings us the means to buy food, to raise our family, to have a home, and it is what helps the world survive.

Work is not to be detested but to be blessed for without work, we lose the means for any of us to go on. This does not mean, however, that work needs to be drudgery or hated; it means that we also have the right, the opportunity, and the will to change work into what we find more pleasurable as long as it provides a way for people to satisfy their various needs.

If you do not work because you do not want to, you are missing one of the main components of your inner peace – a peace that will never be found when you fail to contribute the sustainability of life.

Little Hope
For those people who do not want to work, there is little hope that you will ever acquire what you dream about or what you want. There is nothing free in life – but you have the freedom to work to obtain what you desire whereas there are millions who would gladly trade places with you. There are many opportunities to work in any occupation you want if you have the desire to succeed. Sure it takes hard work but that hard work translates into feeling good about yourself for within you acknowledge that you have the strength, the will, and the desire to stand on your own two feet not being subject to the demands of others against what you want.

Have Perseverance
In some regions of the nation, it is very difficult and challenging to find a job and in some situations almost any job is hard to come by. In these situations, it is even more necessary to have a spirit of dedication that you may never have had to use before. The perseverance necessary is one that makes you go out day after day and pound the pavement delivering your resume to as many companies as possible. There are still companies looking for good employees and some of these companies actually never advertise their open potions. In these cases, it is also wise to talk to as many people as possible in your related area to see if they know of any jobs available that are not listed in the employment centers or in the newspaper or on job Internet sites.

Sure, a job creates a better sense of worth but so does not giving up when the times are tough.
