The Last Rose:
A True Celebration of Eternal Life

Each year, hundreds, if not thousands, of books are written. Some of these books fall under the category best described as inspirational. And, while these books give you food for the soul, many do not give you such powerful messages as written in “The Last Rose, A True Celebration of Eternal Life” by Thomas E. Pierce.

This isn’t just a book about the author’s loss of his wife and one of his daughters in a tragic accident in Baltimore when a water taxi capsized, this is a book that reaches beyond loss of life to a dedication to the positive impact made by two extraordinary people on the lives of hundreds of others. And, while there is no doubt that the loss of life of two remarkable people can wrench your soul, the words of author, husband and father Thomas Pierce give each of us a critical insight into how to turn tragic negatives to everlasting positives.

It’s not a book that simply reflects on the deaths of loved ones and how a person learns to cope, it also speaks to how two people’s lives and their caring, love, and devotion will continue on within the hearts and actions of those they touched. In each of their own ways, Pierce’s wife and daughter positively contributed to others in ways that helped them develop, helped them be more and do more, helped them to see solutions not problems, and gave each person another real life example in ways to move beyond self-indulgence to inner growth.

I would highly recommend “The Last Rose” to anyone experiencing the death of a loved one, to anyone wanting to know the meaning of life and true legacy, and to those who value helping others. Visit The Last Rose, to find out more about Thomas Pierce and his book, The Last Rose.

Some of our favourite inspirational quotes from the book are:

“If I can find positive things coming from the loss of my wife and daughter, then believe me, you can find the positive side of anything that happens in your life; you just have to work a little harder”

“…each time we make a difference in someone else’s life, no matter how small, it will encourage them to do the same for others. And each time that happens, we all become a stronger force for good.”

“All the kindness a person puts out into the world works on the hearts and thoughts of mankind.”

The book is available at Amazon.
