Breaking Point Quotes, Idioms and Proverbs

Be inspired by our collection of breaking point quotes. Breaking point is a term used to describe the moment when a person, situation, or system reaches a critical threshold and can no longer withstand the stress or pressure. It is a pivotal moment that can lead to either a breakthrough or a breakdown, depending on how it is handled. When facing a breaking point, individuals are often faced with difficult decisions and must draw on their inner strength and resilience to overcome the challenge.

We have all been there, if you haven’t then you are officially classed as superhuman. When we reach the end of what we can tolerate, the human brain’s natural defence is to shut down or lash out, potentially both, either way, it can be a really bad time of your life. I want you to know that this is not the end and you may just be in the wrong place, whether that be your job or your relationship, or both! It’s time to seriously think about what comes next. You can choose to give up, quit and walk away or you can decide that you are stronger than that, it’s time to make that choice. Power through your struggles and keep trying, or get out of dodge and try something new.

I have hit breaking point more than once personally and each time I decided to try something new, reset my life so to speak. I’ll tell you right now that it works, but you have to be serious about it. I changed careers more than once and every single time it is difficult, learning new skills and meeting new people is hard work, but I’m definitely better off for it. We can only take so much, and when it comes to it. Action needs to be taken.
