Page 1 The Defined Purpose
It is much easier to just flow along with events but that means you are taking no responsibility for your own destiny. All you do by accepting events as they come is to be in a reactive mode and in an action mode.
End Goal Defined Properly
Take a person for example that wants to be a doctor. They have already decided that there is a course of action they must follow that means many years of formal education. But, it is not the educational requirements that drive them to an end goal, it is, instead, the passion to help people though the application of good medical practices.
A Specific Purpose
They intend to assist people in maintaining health, to contribute to the well being of people. Their purpose is bigger than simply finishing medical school for their purpose can only be accomplished throughout a lifetime of being the best doctor they can be for the benefit of their patients.
Look Deep Inside To Find It
Maybe, you have not yet discovered your purpose in life. If you are still confused about your purpose, you are certainly not alone. One of the challenges is to really look deep inside and to decide what it is you would really like to do with your life.
Remember Me This Way
One way that has worked for many people in the past is to ask yourself a very simple question. This question is this: on your deathbed, what do you want to be known for, or, how do you want to be remembered?
Do you want to be known as a person who did everything they could to help those in need? If you do, this is a grand epitaph. If you want to be known this way, for example, you could devote your spare time to serving at a local community group for the disadvantaged.
Have you decided on your purpose in life yet?
