Charles Dickens Quotes

February 7, 1812 - June 9, 1870

Charles Dickens was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. He was a famous author, whose work lives on today. He is well known for his book, "A Christmas Carol" and for many others. He had a flair for words and often used humor in his writings. While we enjoy all of his quotes, one of our favorites is: "Try to do unto others as you would have them do to you, and do not be discouraged if they fail sometimes. It is much better that they should fail than you should."
